Latest TCS Aptitude Question SOLUTION: In the month of october in a year has exactly four mondays and four fridays, find what day of week wiil be on the 20th of November of that year.

As it is mentioned in the question that we have exactly 4 Mondays and 4
Fridays , so it is clear that the October month has 4 weeks at least
that means 28 days.
So, now our approach is to fix the remaining 3 days as the October month
is of 31 days. These 3 days can be 1st,2nd and 3rd October or can be
29th, 30th and 31st October.

Case-1-> suppose Friday is 1st October, then after exactly after 4 weeks
29th October will have Friday, that means there will be 5 Fridays, which
is not matching with the condition given in the question.

Similarly if 1st is on Saturday, then exactly after 4 weeks :-
29th October = Saturday
30th October = Sunday
31st October = Monday
So again we will get 5 Mondays, which is not matching with our condition
of only 4 Mondays.
Similarly, if 1 is on Sunday then also there will be 5 Mondays
If 1st is on Monday then also there will be 5 Mondays

Case-2-> Now if 1st is on Tuesday, then exactly after 4 weeks:-
29th October = Tuesday
30th October = Wednesday
31st October = Thursday
So this case is following our condition of having exactly 4 Mondays and
4 Fridays

Now, if u keep 1st on Wednesday then again we will have 31st October on
Friday. That means we will have 5 Fridays.

So on 20th of November, it is
Wednesday............................................. Hence

from this way we can conclude that ---there will be Sunday on 20th November.

To complete 31 days along with restriction we must start October with Tuesday, hence it ends on Thursday. Thus, Month of November starts with Friday, therefore 20th of November is Wednesday

becoz if the month stars with friday then the month consist four mondays and four fridays then the 31 oct is sunday.So 20 th nov is Saturday

In calendar Starting 1st day of october from tuesday ,then there will be 4 mondays and 4 fridays so that 20th october comes under Sunday.
