let he sells 100 lit of milk @ 120 rs. means his cost price must b 100 to gain 20% profit.
Nw he adds 10% milk ie total milk z 110 lit.
Now he will get 132 rs. by selling 110 lit f milk (120*110/100)
total profit = 32 rs
increased profit =12 rs
%age increase= 12/20= 60 %

if he sells for rs.100 he gets profit of rs.20 by adding 10% water he adds 10rs milk (consider)
total money of milk rs.110
profit 20% = 22 rs
old profit = 20 rs
increase in profit = 22/20=11%

here the formula is a+b+(ab)/100= 20+10+200/100= 32%

Initial Profit - 20%
Milkman adds 10% water which is also profit for him.
Net or effective profit = a+b+(ab/100).
i.e.., 20+10+(20*10/100) = 20+10+2 = 32%

intially milk =10l
so profit of 20% means 120/100*10=12
next 10% 0f water is added so i L of water added to the whole solution (i.e 10/100=1:10=water:milk)
all in all the new solution is 11L
so 20%profit now means 120/100*11=13.2
net profit=(13.2-12)/12*100=10
so ans is [10]

Solution:

= x + y + xy / 100

= 20 + 10 + (200 / 100)

= 32%
