15% of 207 = 15/100*207
= 31.05
Total price excluding gratuity service=207-31.05
=175.95
Avg price per person=175.95/15
=11.73

AS 207 pound includes 15% gratutiy
Thus, Total price is 115%
So,Price excluding gratuity=(207/115)*100=20700/115
Average price per person (20700/115)*1/15=12pounds

207/115*100=180
180/15=12

first to find 15% 0f guilty service=15/100*207=31.05
so the price of lunch pounds for 15 people =207
value ofservice difference value from lunch pounds=207-31.03=175.95
now to find average price per person excluding the gratitude=175.95/15=11.73

207=x+x*15/100
ans=180

as total price includes 15% gratuity of service so actual price without tax is=(207/115)*100=180
so avg price for each person=180/15=12.... ans is 12 pounds

Let ‘x’ pounds be the net price of lunch for 15 people. Including the 15% gratuity

The total price becomes -> x + 0.15x -> 1.15x pounds. This is equivalent to 207 pounds.

Hence ‘x’ is equal to 207/1.15 -> 180 pounds

Hence the average prices for each person -> 180/15 -> 12 pounds.
