No,I would say that each sport has its own importance in India.If its the cricket season then people watch cricket,if its the kabbadi season then they watch kabbadi. No sport is big and no sport is small.All are equally treated and are important.

To some extent it is true,but we can also not disagree with the fact that cricketers are performing well for our country,nd i think in india people usually supports that team sport where there are quality players. we can see their rankings ....india usually lies 1 to 3,that is why the no. of people supporting cricket is more in our country

people in india often think a lot about cricket
but , what about our national game?
we have been facing this mode of discrimination since decades.
hockey has almost lost its importance
our government hesitate a lot to announce national award for our players like dhyan chand.
even it dont pays their wages in aproper manner
cricket is inhibiting the growth of other sports by other activities like ipl etc.
irrespective of the sport, talented people must be encouraged.

Hii,sorry to interrupt but India won in 1983 n that was not the time when it got famous..yeh its true that at that time also indian youth was more excited about cricket than other games.... Also cricket die hard fan following started after launch of IPL editions with short format of game n lots of money than any other games....but its not the cause of hampering of other games that is also true.....other games are lagging behind due to lack of financial as well as motivational support to Indian youth with proper training sessions.

It is not cricket,it is the media who is hampering growth of other sports in india.
It telcasts ,reviews,make news only of cricket,but not of other sports.Peoples are intersted in watching other sports also if you they get opportunity. So better start telcasting other sports will increase the interst of inidans in them.I wil give you a very good examples of Hockey India League 2013 held in ranchi.Standum capacity 5k ,people reached there to watch 50k,then around 8-9k people manages to enter the hockey astroturf stadium,remaining were send to football stadium and they watched in the tv on that stadium,and the enthusiasm was the same.

1. news source: smartphone connect people to the world what is happening in the world with less amount time.
2. learning source: today smartphone make easier to learn without physical going in physical class which is less expensive. In simple word online study through various sources of smartphone.
3. banking issues: now a days online payment is more easiest way to pay. and if u want to transfer money one account to another account u can simply transfer without going your bank.

No, i don't agree with this term.
Yah there is lots of time spending on our smartphone in daily life.
But there is many more advantages using smartphone rather than we called it's making us dumb.
For example,now a day's we are transferring money one place to another place in few seconds.
Online examination,form apply,all the things are just complete in a minute second.

In my point of view, smartphones are making people dumb because as we see daily everyone start their day with phone and it became oxygen to everyone like no one can live without oxygen and no one can live without phone in their hands. Everyone addicted to the smartphones and some may use it in a good way and some may use it in a wrong way , as spending a lot of time with phone people became dumb such that they dont even know whats happening in their surroundings. Are smartphones really making people dumb? This is an important sentence. I think that every coin has two faces heads and tails, likewise smartphone also has this two faces. Talking about the positive side there are so many benefits of smartphone like calling, access to the internet , creating jobs in the industry (take Android, IOS as an example), texting messages(take example of whatsapp,hike messanger). Now when we come to the other side of the coin, we recently have some smartphone accident like overcharging any smartphone battery would be dangerous, so we need to handle it with proper care, also some bad people can hack your device and can collect sensitive data (only if u have stored in it). Some smartphone can emit high radiations that can harm human health (for example deafness, people who are constantly listening to music via earphones plugged in, in some extreme cases it can cause fatal disorders). So this age is the age of smartphone but what i feel is the awareness about using the phones should be our primary concern.

Its really an awesome topic. Actually it is!! Now a days every one is using smartphone that avail every prospective facility of whatever we need. But on the other hand we the teens are using it for our time-pass, by using several apps like messenger whatsApp and so many social networking application that brings people away from their guardians . They even stop to share the necessary things with their guardians which is very important thing. All the time teens used to chat with the friends they even lost their presence of mind. Adding to it smartphones radiate some kind of unhealthy radiation that directly effect our minds. Using smartphones one can update themselves in order to be updated but on the other hand they are taking themselves away form the hell like life. - Let us talk in terms of money. A Smartphone can be bought under Rs 20000 as well as above Rs 40000. There is no doubt that the expensive ones have more features. But more than 80% of people don’t even know what the features are. They just buy to show off, and hence are nothing but dumb.

- Smartphones make people dependent or rather say addicted to it. The users remain at the mercy of the notifications. There is no dividing line between rational use and addiction, which results in stress and decreased productivity.

- Texting on Smartphones has deteriorated people’s English grammar and spellings. Even on formal papers they write either the SMS language or wrong spellings. This is another step towards being a dumb.

Smartphones are making people smarter or dumb, it is depend on its use. The most important advantage of smartphones is people can connect with their friends and relatives anytime anywhere. With the help of smartphones people can pay their electricity,telephones bills etc. when we go to a new place then our smartphones helps us as a map. We can also use smartphones as e-book reader and smartphones also provide help for our documents, presentation etc. Smartphones can be used as camera. Sometimes smartphones play an important role in the security also especially in case of girls. For example, when girl hire a taxi to go somewhere in night they can just click photo of number plate of taxi and send it to their siblings.
Smartphones also making people dump because due to smartphones the remembering power of people is decreases. For example when people does not have smartphones, they can memorized lots phone number by heart which are necessary but now a days people can not memorized numbers.

Goes are the days when people used to make queue for the railways reservation, booking a ticket for cinema, long wait for the bill payment at govt. offices and banks. It is now possible within a moment just flickering your fingers on your smartphones. Smartphones have actually become essential in our daily life. Its advantages ranges from entertainment like movies, music to education like ebooks and pdfs. The wide varieties of applications makes it special than any devices . In a particular sense , it has brought your pc into your palm. You can almost do everything you need as in your professional life in your phone such as Editing, mailing, formatting etc using apps like ms office. As a whole I consider it as a very useful and good device but you know anything beyond limit is harmful. Therefore it is an essential and useful device until we get addicted to it. Thus smartphones are making people smarter but too much use of it can waste a lot of yours valuable time.

Smartphone is a boon which has taken birth from the evolution of technology.It is a bank of knowledge which if utilized properly can prove fruitful.With a wonderful storage capacity it can store various things starting from books,dictionaries and many more which was impossible with normal mobile phones.It has made people smart.With various features like navigation and maps people now dont need to go n ask others for a particular location but they themselves can find any locations they want.Acting as a mini computer it has ms office which people can use to make presentations instantly without the need of a laptop or a desktop.As the coin has two sides smartphones have some disadvantages too but they are overshadowed by the advantages that the smartphone possesses.Thus Smartphones are making smart people rather than dumb ones.

No doubt, Technology make things easier for us but Adverse effect of this is making people dumb. Of course, Smart[phones are making people dumb. Most of our daily time, we spend on our smartphones rather than doing something else. No doubt, It helps in various things like online shopping, get updated with our surroundings, but our youth just overuse it by having just continuously chatting and playing games. No Meditation, No yoga makes our health not fit. As a result we are becoming dumb.

1 i am agree because use of smartphone decreses memory for e.g in previous period all people even remember phone number but now most of them donot know others relative number.
2 In case of price if a people has to buy a smartphone of high price then thats phone having much feature than less amount phone but every one donot know all the features of phone hence it is e.g of dumb.
