let the speed of train be s. Relative speed for first cycle =(s-9)
time=12 sec, so dist=speed*time
=(s-9)*12*(5/18)m/sec
Relative speed for second cycle =(s-18)
time=18 sec,so dist=speed*time
=(s-18)*18*(5/18)m/sec
on solving the two equations we get
s=36 km/hr and length of train =90 m
