in the given sequence first take the alternate numbers starting from 2 then we get 2,6,12,20,..........differences are 4,6,8... so every time there is an increase 2 from previous number to next number
so numbers in the series alternatively 2,6,12,20,30,42 ....
Now take the remaining terms in the sequence the remaining are
4,8,12,16,....in this difference is always 4
so the numbers in remaining alternative numbers is 4,8,,12,16,20,24............

finally answer is
2,4,6,8,12,12,20,16,30,20,42,24,56,28,…

there are two series one is 0 4 8 12 16 and the other is 2 6 12 20 ?
our concern is 2 6 12 20
1*2=2
2*3=6
3*4=12
4*5=20
if we follow the same series the next one will be 5*6=30
hence the missing no is 30
ans =30

there are two series one is 0 4 8 12 16 and the other is 2 6 12 20 ?
our concern is 2 6 12 20
6-2=4
12-6=6
20-6=8
if we follow the same series the next one will be 30-20=10
hence the missing no is 30
ans =30

Ans is 16 times...Firstly divide balls in factor of three so that they are divided in equal lots.
hence lots are as follows.
2187 , 2187 , 2187 ..Number of times these lots are weighted is 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 729 , 729 , 729 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 243 , 243, 243 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 81 , 81 , 81 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 27 ,27 ,27 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 9 ,9 ,9 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next lot 3 ,3 ,3 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
next 1 ,1 ,1 again weighted 2 times to get heavier lot.
HENCE TOTAL 16 TIMES TO BE WEIGHTED..

answer is 30. because there are two series. our concern is second one. 2,6,12,20. the difference is increasing in A.P. 4,6,8. so next difference is 10. (20+10)=30
