the answer is 12 hrs.
becaz, A and B are working independently and B take highest time at all.
so the A cover 10 hrs from 12 hrs of B.

The Answer is 12 hours.
A completes one publication ====> 12 hours
B completes one publication ====> 10 hours
Hence, the maximum time taken to complete these two publications is 12 hour.
This is 100% correct Answer.

answer is 28 because a takes 24 hours then b takes 4 hours to complete two publication

calculate the rate of work A=1/12 and for B=1/10 if they work together then A+B=11/30 is rate of work, time taken to complete a 2 works together is 2/(11/30) which is 60/11 hrs.
ans-60/11 hrs

the answer is 22hrs
because ,A and B are working independently and A takes highest time for one publication.
working independtly takes 22 hrs

since A does the work in 12 hrs
So , in an hr 1/12 work is done by A.
and similarly in an hr, 1/10 work is done by B.
Therefore together in an hr,they do(1/12+1/10)=4/15 of the work.

Now,since they both can do 4/15 of the work in 1 hr
therfore " " " " " 1 work in 15/4 hr i.e 3hr and 45 minutes

Ans: 12 hours

I interpret this question as "A starts to make a publication" and at the same time 'B starts to make another publication'

After 12 hours, A completes his publication. By this time, B must have already completed his publication(as B needs only 10 hours). So answer is 12 hours

A's 1 day job is == 1/12
B's 1 day job is ==1/10
(a+b)'s job is ((1/10)+(1/12)) == 11/60
both can finish the work in 60/11

According to the question,
A and B have to complete 2 publications(1 publication by A and 1 by B)
So, A will take 12 hrs and B will take 10 and hence 2 publications will be done within 12 hrs
