5th digit must be even
so chances for taking even number for 5th digit is 3c1=3
remaining 6 digits can be arranged in 6! wys in 6 places
so total numbers formed=3*6!=720*3=2160

second last digit can be filled in 3 ways. so - - - - 3 - .
now first digit in 6 ways, second in 5 ways , third in 4 ways , fourth in 3 ways, fifth means second last in 3 ways and last in 2 ways. so overall, 6*5*4*3*3*2=2160
so ans is 2160.

last digit is even number so 3 ways
5th digit is also even no so 2 ways(already 1 number is placed)
remaining 4 places and remaining nos 5
so 5*4*3*2=120 for 4 places
for 6 places=120*2*3=720 is the answer

he asked us to find no. of ways of forming 6 digited number.In the above question 7 numbers are given. Out of them 2,4,6 are even.so the fifth palce in the 6 digited number can be filled in 3 ways.now we have 5 places with 6 numbers.this can be done in 6C5 ways.and all these 6C5 ways are distinct.Therefore total number of ways is 3*(6C5)=18 ways

here,we have to break the whole problem into 3 different cases and the OR the 3 different ways.First, consider a 2 in the second last digit then we are left with 6x5x4x3x2 ways in first,2nd,3rd,4th and 6th digit.Similarly consider 4 and 6 in the 2nd last digit,then the add them i.e 720+720+720=2160 ways!!

if i go through 1 2 3 4 5 2(even) 3 (even) all multiply we get 720 then how 2160 plz elaborate??

From the given question, 6th digit and 2nd digit must be even and we have 3 even integers here such are 2,4,6. For the 2th place we can select 1 number from 3 ...i.e 3c1 ways. For 6th place,we can select even number in two ways. So Answer is 5*3*4*3*2*2 = 720 ways
