1st 5 days 1/8 or 60/480 of total work will be completed...
2nd 5 days 55/480 of total work will be completed...
3rd 5 days 50/480 of total work will be completed...
similarly 45/480 and 40/480 and so on till 5/480...
so when all men leave amount of work left=1-(60/480+55/480+...+5/480)
which gives us that 90/480 amount of work will be left at the end...
so the taskl will not be completed...

ACCORDING TO THE CALCULATIONS DONE BY ME...
THE WORK WILL NEVER BE COMPLETED AS ALL THE MEN WILL BE GONE BEFORE COMPLETION OF THE WORK.

there are 60 men and dey tak 40 days...
so work done by 1 man in a day=>1/2400

Now After every 5 days 5 people are leaving the job....
hence=>
1/2400*(60 +55+....+5)=6.15 days
Appro.=6days to complete

Total work = 60*40=2400
now for every 5 days 5 people are on leave
it means only 55 mens are on work so time taken to complete same work by
55 peoples is 2400/55=43.63....Ans

for 1 men 1/2400th work is complete in one day
similarly(60+60+60+60+55)=out of 2400 work 295 are work is completed in 5 days
then consider total work is unit
let x be the no. of days to complete a work
equation becomes
x*295/(5*2400)=1
40.677 days
