ans is 80becoz amit speed twice that of summit so work done by summit in double time that of amit

Answer can't be found because at least a parameter should be provide having time as unit eg here Amit should reach the top in 40 sec (not step) .. since with distance only and no relation between time and speed (nothing here is provided for escalator) no solution can be done. ... if this is the ques then data is missing or u have jotted wrong ques
