let x be the price of the bag and y be the price of turban
then at the end of the yr,servant will receive=RS 40+x
therefore,at the end of 9 month he will receive=Rs(40+x)/12 * 9
which is =55+y
from here we get x=(100+4y)/3
put y=2,5,8.....29... we get x=26,40,44...
hence ans is 29!!

wrong question. Because there are two variable as consider y for turban and x for bag. To solve for this we should have minimum two relations, here only one relation exists.

Answer is 29 by using trail and error method

12m-b=40
9m-b=55
