Hence 2256 is the answer.

given: team must comprise not more than 3men
so,
there can be possible choices of 3,2,1 or 0 men
correspondingly 8,9,10 o 11 women
to get a team comprising 11.

possible combinations are= (5c3*11c8) +(5c2*11c9)+(5c1*11c10)+(5c0*11c11)

on calculating: 1650+ 1550+55+1

ans : 2256

Maximum 3 men can be played which means there can be 0, 1, 2, 3 men in the team.
(5C0×11C11)+(5C1×11C10) + (5C2×11C9)+(5C3×11C8) = 2256

Beause see the exact words " not more than"" meaning carefully ok...means ,0 , 1, 2,3
means team of 11 women can be also formed..

Selecting 0 men and 11 women : 5c0+11c11
Selecting 1 men and 10 women : 5c1+11c10
Selecting 2 men and 9 women : 5c2+11c9
Selecting 3 men and 8 women : 5c3+11c8

Now it can't be 4 men and 7 women 5 men and 6 women because we have to choose men not more than 3.

possible combinations are= (5c0*11c11) + (5c1*11c10) +(5c3*11c8)+ (5c2*11c9)

on calculating: 1 + 55 + 550 + 1650

Ans: 2256
