it might be 1200+6400=7600
, or some nearest value as per the given options.
because none of the pipe is lesser than 6400 means we have margin of
3*6800- 3*6400 = 1200ft.
for the condition greatest. . we may consider both the other pipes as 6400 ft each.
n the greatest one is 6400+1200 = 7600 :)
solution is much depended on the options :)

pallavi you are correct....answer is 7600... none is less than 6400 feet...here we have to find the greatest length...avg length of 3 tapes is 6800...so sum of 3 is 20,400...for getting the condition the 2 tapes can be of size 6400 and 6400...then the 3rd tape will be 7600...

3*6800 = 20,400
6400 + 6800m +7200 =20400
