The bird is travelling from. B to R at 120 kmph. The train is also moving from B to R at 60 kmph. Since the speed of the bird is greater than speed of the train,the bird cannot be killed as both trains and bird is moving in the same direction.

time of collision = d/(60+60) = t
distance traveled by bird in t hours = (d/120)*120 = d [answer]
(where d is the distance between B & R)

880/v1 - 5 =880/v2 -----equ 2
where v1 is a velocity of B and v2 is a velosity of A
then find the time taken.

let the 2 trains b and r move with a speed of 60 kmph in opposite directions.
speed of bird=120 kmph
time elapsed before collision=t
distance covered in t hrs=d
=> t=d/60 hrs
distance covered by the bird in t hrs=120*t
=120*d/60
=2d = initial distance between b and r.
