answer:

area of each circle is =3.14units

Area of the square is :36 units
that means, a*a=36 => a=6
then, there are 9 circles arranged in 3 rows with in the square.
each row occupies 3 circles.
one circle occupies 2sq unit exactly..
so the diameter of the circle is 2unit
Therefore radius =1 unit
area of the circle pi*r*r =>3*14*1*1=> 3.14
