the simple solution to thsi is that
the person first switch on d first switch...then for one min it would remain on..then he off that switch ...n then heon d second switch ...n kept it on ..n enter the room....now
1:-if the lamp is glowing means the switch which he left on belongs to d lamp...
otherwise 2:- he will touch the lamp if its is little bit hot then he wil able to know that first switch belongs to lamp which he on it ealier n turn it off...
else 3:- third switch will be of lamp which he never touch....

Pls check this qn. How many 4 or 5 digit numbers can be formed by using 0, 1, 3, 5, 8. Repetition is not allowed. None of the given options is correct. No. of 4 digit nos that can be formed by using 0, 1, 3, 5, 8.( Repetition is not allowed.)=4*4*3*2=96 No. of 5 digit nos that can be formed by using 0, 1, 3, 5, 8.( Repetition is not allowed.)=4*4*3*2*1=96 Total No. of 4 digit or 5 digit nos that can be formed by using 0, 1, 3, 5, 8.( Repetition is not allowed.)=96+96=192
