Let p(A) = 30% = 0.3
P(B) = 20% = 0.2
Both, p(AnB) = 10% = 0.1

So, p(AuB) = p(A)+p(B)-p(AnB)
P(AuB) = 0.3+0.2-0.1 = 0.4 = 4/10 = 2/5

% offered only english=30-10=20, only hindi=20-10=10 and both english & hind=10
Here total 20+10+10=40% students has offered either english or hindi
so same will be probaility of a student, who has offered english or hindi if selected at random,
Hence probability =40/100=2/5
