(1/A)+(1/B)=1/10 ---(i) & (1/B)+(1/C)=1/8 ---(ii)
As B is 20% more efficient than C, so 1/B= (120/100)*1/C or 1/B=6/(5C), Substituting this value of 1/B in (ii), 1/C=5/88, so 1/B=3/44 and from (i) 1/A=7/220
A+C 's 1 day work=(7/220)+(5/88)=39/440
So A & C together will complete the same work in 440/39 or 11 11/39 days
