Time taken for 200 strokes=200*60/30=400 and pause of 5 seconds,so total seconds=405 sec.
Strokes from 0 to 1020= 1021 and A to Z=26, So total strokes=1047
So upto 1000 strokes time taken=405*5=2025 sec.
For remaining 47 strokes, time taken=47*60/30=94 sec.
So total time taken=2025+94=2119 sec.=35 min. 19 sec.

number of keystrokes required=(0 t0 9 * 1 key) + (10 to 99 * 2 keys) + (100 to 999 * 3 keys) +
(1000 to 1020 * 4 keys) + (A TO z letter * 1 key)
= 3000 keystrokes
for 200 keystrokes 400 + 5(for pausing)= 405 seconds are needed
therefore, for 3000 keystrokes 6070 second(avoiding 5 seconds for last 200 keystrokes)
hence, 6070/60 = 101.16666 min are required

Total Key Strokes = 10*1 + 90*2 + 900*3 + 21*4 = 2974
Time for 2974 strokes = 2974 * 2 sec = 5948 sec
no. of Halts = 2974/200 = 14 (Greatest integer )
halt time = 14 * 5 = 70 Sec
Therefore, total time + 5948 + 70 = 6018 sec = 103 min.

30 keystrokes=60sec
1 keystrokes=60/30=2sec;200 keystrokes=400 sec..He pauses for 5 seconds after every 200 strokes.so 400sec+5 sec=405 sec....every 200 strokes time required 405 sec.so 1000 strokes time will require =405*200=2025....Strokes from 0 to 1020= 1021 and A to Z=26, So total strokes=1047.so rest 47 strokes time will be ....for 1 strokes 2 sec ,so 47 strokes 47*2=94...
so total 2025+94=2119 sec=35min.19 sec.....

chirag's solution is right,uptill the last gap..he wont need a gap after finsihing typing so it will be 10 seconds and not 15

Total strokes=3000
3000/200=15
15*405=6075
6075/60=101.25
101min15sec

2119 total numbers & alphabets are 1047 ,It takes 2094 sec ,also there will be 5 times
of stopping the typing for 5 sec. Hence time taken is 2094+25=2119sec

Strokes from 0 to 1020= 1021 and A to Z=26, So total strokes=1047
for 1000 strokes time taken=1000*60/30=2000 + there are 5 sec pause for every 200 sec for 1000 it is 5 *5=25 hence, 2000+25=2025. same calculate for remaining 47 it is 47*60/30=94 sec.
total time=2025+94=2119 sec.
