Three racers, Ajay, Bharat and Charan took part in a race. Ajay completed his race,20mtrs ahead of Bharat and 34mtrs ahead of Charan,while Bharat completed his race 21mtrs ahead of Charan.while running,no racer could change his spead,what was the distance of the race.

Let the total distance be X mtrs .
When Ajay covers X mtrs, at the same time Bharat covers (X-20) mtrs & CHaran covers (X-34) mtrs.
& When Bharat covers X mtrs, at that time Charan covers (X-21) mtrs .
So we can conclude that when Bharat covers 20 mtrs, at that time Charan covers 13 mtrs .
So speed ratio of Bharat & Charan is 20/13 .

We can write
(X-20) / (X-34) = 20/13
X = 60 .
So total distance is 60 mtrs .
