1 men will in 1day do 1/5*6 = 1/30 work
so, 1 women will in 1 day do 1/8*6 = 1/48 work

so, 5 men will do in 1 day = 5/30 = 1/6 work
and 8 women will do in 1 day = 8/48 = 1/6 work

Therefore, 5 men and 8 women together will take = 1/6+1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3 = 3 days.
Answer: 3 days.

we cant find value of three variables with two equations, one more equation needed.....

As 5 men= 8 women
so we can write it as 5+5=10 men
so the answer will be 3 days
