But even/even can be even or odd

because , if we take x=3 ,y=5 and z=2
then we get by solving 1/8(x2 + y2 )* z2 = 17 (odd no)
and again if we take x=11,y=13 and z=4
then we get from eqn=580 (even no)

1/8 *(3^2 + 5^2 ) *2^2 =17(Odd)

case1-> take x=1,y=3,z=2
ans is 5,that is an odd no.
case2-> take x=5,y=7,z=12
ans is 1332,that is an even no.
so final ans. is CAN BE EVEN or ODD.

y=a+2;
z=4*a (even=4*odd) ;

=> 1/8*[a^2+(a+2)^2]*(4*a)^2

= 1/8*[a^2 +a^2+4+4a]*16*a^2

= 2*[2a^2+4a+4]*a^2
=2*any no.
= even.

Case II
-
when x=a,y=a+2& z=2a

final solution =1/2*(a^2+2a+2)*a^2
pt a=1,3,5.

always got odd.


Hence answer D

once take x=3 & 5 and y=2 and put these value and solve u ll get an odd number 17
again take x=5 & 7 and y=4 and put these value and u ll get 148 an even number
so the answer will be D) can be even or odd

so lets in problem
(odd^2+odd^2)*even^2
(odd+odd)*even*even
even*even*even
at least divide by eight but not confirm quotient is even or odd
so answer is option d

1/8((odd*odd)+(odd*odd))*(even*even)
=1/8(odd+odd)*even
=1/8even*even
=even
