we will get two sectors when we join circle centres and intersection points .
By subtracting area of two sectors from area of square we will get common area.
area of square 1 cm^2
area of sector =pi*R^2*(angle)/360
Here angle=90 degree
angle can be found out by drawing diagonals on square and applying sin.
here area of 2 sectors= 2*pi*1^2*90/360=pi/2
answer is pi/2-1

area of two quarter circles=2.pi/4
are of two triangles= 2*1/2
area between two circles in common=pi/2-1
