Total Sampl Space is 6^3=216
and desired event is
((1,6,3) = 6 ways
(1,5,4)= 6 ways,
(2,6,2)= 3 ways
,(2,5,3)=6 ways
,(2,4,4) = 3 ways

(3,4,3)= 3 ways
Total 27 ways so desire d probability is 27/216

Total=27
So Probability=27/216= 1/8

when 3 dice are rolled
if sum is between 3 to 8 then no of posibilites is n-1c2
if sum is 10 or 11 it is 27
if sum is 9 or 12 it is 25
greater than 13 it is 20-nc2
so probability is 27/216=1/8

To be able to roll a 10 with 3 dice, the first 2 dice must give a value between 4 and 9 (probability of 3/4), in which case there is a 1/6 chance that the third die will make the total 10. So, the overall probability is 3/4x1/6=1/8.
