so if a complete 72% of work in 9 days than it will complete 100% of that work in= 12.5 days
and if b complete 92% of that work in 12 days, it will complete 100% of that work in= 13.04 days
so they both will complete that work to-gather in = (12.5 * 13.04) / (12.5+ 13.04) = 6.38 days answer

first take ratio of a is 3 similarly b is 4 i.e 3:4
A complete 72% i.e 0.72 = 0.72 * 3 =2.16
B complete 92% i.e 0.92= 0.92*4=3.68
L.c.m of A and B id 12 so
12/(2.16+3.68) =1200/584 = 2.05 ans

It said clearly that A complete work in 9days and b complete work in 12 days. So, no need to calculate there is your answer.
