Option A-1986
Sum of year = 1+9+8+0 =(18) 1+8 = 9
1+9+8+2 =(20) 2+0 = 2
1+9+8+4 = (13) 1+3 = 4
Now 9+2+4= (15) 1+5= 6

Nd option A 1+9+8+6 = 24(2+4)= 6

IF 1986 IS THEIR PRESENT MARRIED YEAR 1986-1980=6
IF 1st child is 4 year and 2nd one is 2 yrs old total 6
6=6

Suppose the year value is 'x'.
(x-1984)+(x-1982) = x-1980
x = 1986

option A is the correct ans . 1st child born on 1982 and the other on 1984 and combined ages of both the children will be equal to the no of years they got married so now we can go through options.
In 1986 1st child age will be 4 yrs and the 2nd child age will be 2 yrs and there combined age will be(4+2=6) 6 yrs,and the couple got married in 1980 so in 1986 it is 6 yrs.
