(workers)*days/work1= workers2*days/work2

here workers are 2*5+3*4+4*2=30
similarly second workers = 6*5+4*4+7*2=60
and work here is 10 hectare and 16 hectare ,
so now put the values
30*10/10=60*x/16

x=8

using the formula
M1*D1/W1=M2*D2/W2
M1=5*2+4*3+2*4 = 30
M2=5*6+4*4+2*7 = 60

D1=10, W1=10
D2= x, W2= 16

now applying the formula
30*10/10=60*x/16
30*16=60x
x=30*16/60
x=8 days

1st, in 10 days 10 hectare field is reaped by 2 men, 3 women and 4 children together
so , in 1 day 10/10=1 hectare field is reaped by 2 men, 3 women and 4 children together
now working capabilities of 1 man, 1 woman and 1 child in 1 day are in the ratio 5:4:2
then working capabilities of 2 man, 3 woman and 4 child in 1 day are in the ratio (5*2):(4*3):(2*4)
=10:12:8
let the total work done be 10x+12x+8x = 30x in one day
so for 10 days it will be 30x * 10 and they graze 10 hectares
so for one hectare it will be(30x*10)/10............(1)

similarly for 6 man,4 women and 7 child
work done will be (6*5):(4*4):(7*2)
it will be 30:16:14
let the total work done be 30x+16x+14x = 60x in one day
so for y days it will be 60x * 10 and they graze 16 hectares
so for one hectare it will be(60x*y)/16......................(2)

equalizing (1) and (2)

we get y=8;
hence 8 days required

so , in 1 day 10/10=1 hectare field is reaped by 2 men, 3 women and 4 children together
now working capabilities of 1 man, 1 woman and 1 child in 1 day are in the ratio 5:4:2
then working capabilities of 2 man, 3 woman and 4 child in 1 day are in the ratio (5*2):(4*3):(2*4)
=10:12:8=5:6:4
let work done by 2 man, 3 woman and 4 child in 1 day are 5x ,6x and 4x respectively
so total work done by 2 man, 3 woman and 4 child in 1 day are (5x+6x+4x)=15x
now 15x=1..............(as 1 hectare field)
or, x=1/15
again working capabilities of a man, a woman and a child are in the ratio 5:4:2
so work done by 6 man, 4 woman and 7 child in 1 day are 5*6/15 ,4*4/15 and 2*7/15 respectively
or , 2,16/15 and 14/15 respectively
total 2+16/15+14/15=4 hectare field
then a 16 hectare field will be reaped by 6 men, 4 women and 7 children in 16/4= days

Given 1 Man=5 units, 1 Woman=4 units, 1 Child=2 units. This is the amount of work that can be done by 1M, 1W, 1C. this is given in ratio. Now just apply the formula which is, (M+W+C)*Days*hours/ amount of work= (M+W+C)*Days*Hours/ Amount of work.

Just apply the values along with the coefficients. And you will get the result.
The answer is 8 days.
