Total work comes out to be 30 units (LCM method). Therefore, Tate can do 2 units work per day and Kate can do 1 unit-work/day. Total work done by both in 1 day = 3 units. Since Tate and Kate work together for 3 days, work completed in 3 days = 3*3 = 9 units. Remaining work = Total Work - 9 = 21 units. Thus, Kate requires 21/1 = 21 days to complete the work. My solution is D.
Kindly provide the right solution if this is incorrect.

for 3 days it takes 5 to finish the project after that kate has to start working for remaining days so the project will be finish under 24 days.thats my solution

t=1/15,k=1/30
t+k=1/10
t and k work for 3 days
there work will be 3/10 days and the remaining work is 7/10
it should be completed by k alone
7/10*30=21
