ans should be (b)23
12 is opposite of 40 means 27 students having both sides
so, 27+27+2=56
and 10 girls more than boys
so 23 boys nd 33 girls

as 12 and 40 are exactily opposite 40-12=28 is the half of the students
then total students --> 28+28=56.
As 10 girls are more than boys. lets take those 10 girls out so we gat equal no of boys and girls
--> 56-10=46.
so nof boys is half of 46 --> 23 and gils are 33..
so max no of boys pop to girls is 23

since 40 is opposite
therefore 40-13=27 both side
total student=27*2+2=56
a+b=56
a+10=b
by solving a=23,b=33
so no. of boys=23
