answer is IV (i.e. cant be answered)
as by using these conditions there can be different values for the age of father.

There is a little mistake in the question:It is a DS problem.
If the age of father is 4 years greater than the mother and 28 years greater than the son,then what is the age of the father?
which one should be used to calculate the age?
a)mother/son=non-prime no
b)mother/son=perfect square
I)a as well as b alone is sufficient to get the age
II)both a and b are required
III)either a or b is required
IV)Cannot be answered

The father's age will be 31.
mother's age=27
son's age=3
and it is possible only when option 2 is follows...
like.... (mother/son=perfect square)
(27/3)=9

father age would be 36
mother age=32
son age=8
ATQ
like (mother age/sons age)=perfect square
32/8=4 here 4 is a perfect square.
this question can have more than one answer...

m=25,
s=1;
=>m/s=25;

let son age be X,,then father age is 28+x,,then mother age is 28+x-4 so mother/son age = (22+x)/(x) and we know that every perfect squre is non prime number..therfore we dont need 1 eqnt...hence this can be answered by only 2 eqnt..so the answer is "only one is alone sufficient"
