But whenever it rained in the mornings, they had clear afternoons and when have clear morning then it rained during afternoon. In all they enjoyed 11 mornings and 12 afternoons. suppose team stayed for x days.
Total sessions ( M+E) they had in England = 2x sessions
Total sessions lost due to rains = 13
Total sessions enjoyed = 11+12=23
hence
2x= 13+23=36
x=18 days

let us assume that they have stayed for x days.
so, they have enjoyed (x-13) mornings and afternoons for sure.(as it rained for 13 days)
now, remaining
enjoyed morning=11-(x-13)
&
enjoyed afternoon=12-(x-13)
so, we can say
12-(x-13) mornings and 11-(x-13) afternoon rained
according to question we can say,
12-(x-13)+11-(x-13)=13
=>12-x+13+11-x+13=13
=>2x=26
=>x=18 (ans)
Indian team stayed there for 18 days.
