Let The Completeion Of Work Be "X" Working"x" Hrs A Day...So(300*5*x)/X=(500*Z*2*x)/X=>Z=1.5 Year...If Any One Of The Year Is Leap Year Days Will Be 365+182=547 dAYS...If Both Are Ordinary Years 365+181=546 Days...

remaining work is 77%
500 employee work double as initial 300 employee
so,employee number 500 can be taken as 1000 employee
now 5 years=365*5=1825 days
remaining work is 100-23=77%
now required days=
(1825*300*77)/(1000*23)
=1832.93 days
=5 years 7.93 days
i.e 5 years 8 days

Amount of work done=No.of workers*Time for which they work
W=300*1826(365*4+366)=1000*x
x=547.8 days or so as to say 1.5 yrs

300 workers worked for 5years and completed 23%
500 workers worked double time=>1000 workers were worked
300*5=23%.......(1)
500*2*t=100%....(2)
solve 1,2
we get :t=150/23years
=150/23*365
=2400days (approx.)
