They receive identical salaries and also write code at the same rate. Suppose 13 such programmers take 13 minutes to write 13 lines of code in total. How many lines of code can be written by 104 programmers in 104 minutes:

(13*13)/13 = (104*104)/?
so ans is 832

13 programmers take 13 minute to write 13 lines

so 1 programmer will take 13 minutes to write 1 line

so 1 programmer will take 1 minute to write 1/13th of a line

so 104 programmers will take 1 minute to write (1/13)*104 = 8 lines of code

if 8 lines need 1 minute then 104 lines need (104/8) minutes = 13 minutes

Ans : 13

there is a formula for these kind of sums.that is (men*time)/work.split the two lines seperately and solve seperately.keep men=R time=T work=W.((R1*T1)/W1=(R2*T2)/W2). ((13*13)/13=(104*104)/W2).SOLVING WE GET 832

there is a formula for this type of question.
the formula is (no.of pgmrs*time)/loc =(no.of pgmrs*time)/loc

Simply we can use the bwlow formula
=P1*M1/L1=P1*M2/L2
=13*13/13=104*104/L2
=104*104/13
=832
