ans 60 mins
2/5 of tha tank is filled in 20 mins by 2 taps.
so,1 tap can fill tha same amt in 40 mins.
remaining(1-2/5=3/5) will be filled in 60 mins by 1 tank

ans:15 mins
2/5 of the tank is filled by 2 identical taps in 20 mins.
remaining part of the tank left is (1-2/5)=3/5
so time taken by 1tap for filling 2/5th of tank=(20/2)=10 mins (bcoz two taps are identical)
hence time taken by 1 tap to fill the entire tank=10*5/2=25 mins
so, time taken to fill the remaining 3/5th of the tank will be = 25*3/2=15 mins

2/5 tank is filled by 1 tank in 40 mins..
so
remaining 3/5 tank will be filled in (40* 5/2 * 3/5 )= 60 minutes

Two tap fill the tank 2v/5 in 20 minutes.
Each tap fills v/5 in 20 minutes.
Left volume = 3v/5 => 3*20 = 60 minutes.
Hence "E" is the answer.

2/5=20 mins
2/5+3/5 =5/5 .....which is equal to one full tank
each pipe flows water for 20 mins .....
and so it takes 3*20 min of time to fill the remaining tank with one pipe
60 is the ans
