The 4th box which weighs 350KG is 30% lighter than the 5th box. Find the difference in average weight of the 4 heaviest boxes and the four lightest boxes.

weight of 1st box=200
weight of 3rd box=(125/100)*200=250
weight of 2nd box=(120/100)*250=300
weight of 4th box =350
weight of 5th box=(10/7)*350=500
average of 4 highest weihted boxes=(500+350+300+250)/4=350
average of 4 lightest boxes=(350+300+250+200)/4=275
therefore difference=350-275=75

GIVEN THAT The 4th box which weighs 350KG is 30% lighter than the 5th box.
SO (70/100)% WEIGHT OF 5TH BOX IS EQUAL TO WEIGHT OF 4TH BOX
SO WEIGHT OF 5TH BOX =(100/70)350 WHICH IS EQUAL TO 500

weight of first box=200kg
weight of 3rd box =((25/100)*200)=50+200=250
weight of 2nd box=((20/100)*250)=50+250=300
weight of 4th box=350
weight of 5th box=500

Avg weight of 1st 4 heaviest boxes=350
Avg weight of 1st 4 lightest boxes=275

Diff =(350-275)=75

Hear given that 1box is= 200.
3rd box is 25% Higher than 1box,so 3rd box is (125/100)*200=250
2nd box is 20%---------------- 3rd box,sob2bd box is (120/100)*250=300
4th box=350
4th box which weighs 350KG is 30% lighter than the 5th box,that means
5th box weight Is 30% Less than 4th box,so
5th box is 350*(100/(100-30))=500 Kg.so
average of 4 highest weighted boxes=(500+350+300+250)/4=350
average of 4 lightest boxes=(350+300+250+200)/4=275
therefore difference=350-275=75

weight of 1st box=200

i.e = (125/100)*200 = 250
weight of 2nd box= 20% higher than of 3rd box
i.e =(120/100)*250 = 300

given that
weight of the 4th box = 350

and weight of the 4th box is 30% lighter than 5th box

i.e weight of the 4th box = 30% lighter than 5th box
350 = (70/100)* 5th box
5th box = 350(100/70) = 500

average of 4 highest weighted boxes=(500+350+300+250)/4=350
average of 4 lightest boxes=(350+300+250+200)/4=275
therefore difference=350-275=75

75 is right answer
weight of first box is 200 kg;
weight of third box is 250 kg;
weight of second box is 300 kg;
weight of fourth box is 350 kg;
weight of fifth box is 3/7*350=150 kg more then 350so total weight of fifth box is 500 kg;
light weight average 1100/4=275;
heavy weight average 1400/4=350;
difference is 350-275=75;

boxes a,b,c,d,e are 200,300,250,350,500 so avg of last 4(350)-avg of first 4(275) will be 75

why 10/7 why not 7/10 pls wxplain

1st box=200, 2nd=300, 3rd=250,4th=350,5th=500. so avg of four heaviest=1400/4 and avg of four lightest box=1100/4. and the difference of these two is 75.
