I think question was for two consecutive whole numbers..
taking x=12 and y=11
it follow all the condition and answer will be option d (all are given)...

Wrong question. The actual question was.

There are two consecutive whole no.'s X & Y. If X>Y>10 and the difference between the cube of x and y is D then D-1 is
a) divisible by X
b) divisible by Y
c) multiple of 3
d) all of the above.

Ans. (d) All of the above. Try it out with any two consecutive whole no.'s you'll get the answer. eg. 12 and 11 or 13 and 12 etc. It will satisfy all the options.

are mere bhai rohit ...it is given that x and y are consecutive....x>y.. it example {(21)^3}-{(20)^3}= 9261-8000=1261 so D is 1261...D-1=1260 and its devide by all three x ,y and factor of 3..i.e 1260/21=60,,1260/20=63,,1260=420*3..

options are not correct..last option is like both a,b,c means divisable by x,y,and multiple of 3 .And it is the correct answer

but we do not get answer when x=20 and y=15 or x=20 and y=13 check on these values
