Let the capacity of the 1st one be 100lts and second one be 2*100=200 lts.
then half of the first one is wine ie 50lts and quarter of second one is wine ie 50 lts. now when we mix them , we have 100lts of 300 lts. ie 1/3

ans is 1/3..
because in 1st bottle, wine=1/2
in 2nd wine=1/4 which is 1/2 w.r.t 1st bottle..
therefore there is a total of wine : water in 3rd bottle= 1:2
therefore amount of wine in 3rd bottle is 1/3

Let capacity of first bottle be 1 ltr.so wine filled=1/2 ltr and left space=1/2.
Let capacity of second bottle be 2 ltr so wine filled=1/4 ltr and remainng=2-(1/4)=7/4
Now in third bottle wine=1/2 + 1/4=3/4.
water in third bottle will be the left spaces in both bottle so =1/2 +7/4=9/4
Ratio in third is(3/4)/(9/4)=1/3(ANS)

let the capacity of the 1st bottle be x ie.wine in the bttle is x/2,
capacity of 2nd bottle is 2x,so quarter of it is x/2.
when both are mixed total amount is 3x,total wine is x/2+x/2=x
so proportion is x/3x=1/3
