Relative speed of both train running in same direction = (45-40)km/hr
= 5 km/hr
convert km/hr to m/s = (5*5/18)m/s
= 25/18 m/s
time taken to cross each other is T= Distance/speed
= (150+100)mts/(25/18)m/s
= (250*18/25)sec
= 180 sec
so,ans= D

one train cross the other train after t units
means, t units, 2nd train (which is having high speed) cross the distance = distance crossed by 1st training + length of 1st train.
ie. (40 * t)+150 = 45*t
ie. t = 30
My answer is D.
