Total amount of work done by Members of A--
In Delivering 100 Parcels- 5x8=40x5=200 units.
Company B has 4 employees and each of them work 6 hours a day
Hence, Work done each day = 24 units
Therefore no.of days required to deliver 100 parcels= No.of days required to do
200 units of work= 200/24= 8.33. hence answer is a.

work done is proportional to men,no. of days,time(of work)
so (w/mdt) is equal in A and B cases
here w is same in two cases
(mdt) of A EQUALS (MDT) of B
5*5*8=4*D*6
implies D=8.3

Ans: a
When questions in which work done by two or more entities r same then the ans can be found by applying d simple formula:
m1*d1*t1*e2=m2*d2*t2*e1
where m1=no. of men working in A
d1=days reqd by A
t1=time reqd by A
e2=efficiency of B
n similarly for rest terms
Put d values
5*5*8=4*6*d2
d2=8.3
