yup I solved it. Below is the solution
Let the length of cut be x so it is equal for all four corners. Now the area of base of the box will be (30-2x)*(30-2x). Height of the box is x.
Volume of the box is (30-2x)(30-2x)*x
We have to have volume maximum solving above equation we get x=5. putting it in above equation we get volume is 2000.
