1/8*(x^2 + y^2)*z^2=?.It can be even or odd,because x^2 is odd and y^2 is also odd.so odd + odd=even and z^2 is even.so whole numerator is even but if u divide even by 8 ans could be even or odd.

this is not right question.. 1/8*(x^2 + Y^2)*z^2 where x and y always odd no.and z is even no.

option a) can b fractional value
b) always ood
C) always even
D) can b odd or even

ope, Its not even or odd. because (1/8) * 64 = 8;
So, multiplying any number by even no. is always even no.

my answr was wrong it can b even or odd
even when z=0,so 1/8*(x^2 + y^2)*z^2 =0

even/8---->we cant break the odd multiple of 8 in the given format.
e.g 0dd multiple of 8 r 8*1,8*3,8*5,8*7,8*9
so in each case either x^2+y^2=8 and z^2=1,3,5... or x^2+y^2=1,3,5 and z^2=8
which is not possible in any case.answer will be the even multiple of 8 only.

If w and x odd numbers,y and z even numbers then
1/8[(w^2+x^2)*(y^2+z^2)]
A.always odd
B.always even
C.may be both
D.not an interger
Ans:
Let,
w = 1(odd), x = 3(odd)
y = 2(even), z=4(even)
we get
1/8* { ( 1 + 9 ) ( 4 +16 ) }
1/8 * { 10 * 20 } = 25 [which is odd]

now,
If we take
w = 1(odd), x = 3(odd)
y = 12(even), z = 20(even)
we get,
1/8 * { ( 1 + 9 ) ( 144 + 400 ) }
1/8 * { (10) (544) } = 680 [which is even]

The value can be even and can be odd.
So, the ans is C.
