7,4,6,3,4.5,1.5,2.25,-0.75,x

7-3=4, 4*(1.5)=6
6-3=3, 3*(1.5)=4.5
4.5-3=1.5, 1.5*(1.5)=2.25
2.25-3=-0.75, -0.75*(1.5)=-1.125
Ans is -1.125

in the series 7,4,6,3,4.5,1.5,2.25,-0.75
7-4=+3
4-6=-2
6-3=+3
3-4.5=-1.5
4.5-1.5=+3
1.5-2.25=-0.75
2.25-(-0.75)=+3
on observing the above difference of the given series we get +3,-2,+3,-1.5,+3,-0.75,+3......the +3 remains constant n -2,-1.5,-0.75,x
-2+0.50=-1.5
-1.5+(0.50+0.25)=-0.75
-0.75+(0.50+0.25+0.25)=+0.25
so x=0.25

therefore -0.75-ans=0.25
-0.75-0.25=ans
therfore ans=-1

we need to find odd position so try linking odd position's values by finding difference in different steps

This is an alternating series
7-6=1
6-4.5=1.5=1+1/2
4.5-2.25=2.25=1.5+1.5/2
2.25-x=2.25+2.25/2
So x=-1.125

No to be divisible by 15-should be divisible by both 3 and 5.
A no could be divisible by 5 if it has 5 or 0 at the unit place.
So we can put only 5 or 0 at the unit place i.e. after 15
1)If we have put 5 then for a no to be divisible by 3 the sum of digits should be divisible by 3
so possible cases are
1+1+5+5=12,so we can put 1,similarly at thousand place we can put,4,7
So total possible cases when 5 is at unit place are 3.
2)When 0 is at unit place
Then we can put 0,3,6,9 at thousand place to make it divisible by 15.
Hence total cases and total nos divisible by 15 are 7
1155,4155,7155,0150,3150,6150,9150.

(7,4) (6,3) (4.5,1.5) (2.25,-0.75) diff. b/w each is 3 and 6-4 =2
4.5-3=1.5
2.25-1.5=.75
so next is , x-(-.75)=.375
= .375

7,4,6,3,4.5,1.5,2.25,-.075
7-6=1

6-4.5=1.5

4.5-2.25=2.25

SO THE NEXT WILL BE 2.25-3.25 =-1
AS YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE IS INCREASING BY .25 AS IT PROGRESSES
