let price of eggs per dozen =x rs then
A/Q
96/(x-.25x)- 96/x = 4
=> 96/x *[1/.75 - 1]=4
=> x= 24*[4/3 -1]=8
ans: rs 8 per dozen

first of all..... 25% of 96= 24
by this 24 he can buy 4 dozen eggs
so reduced prices are 6 per dozen
this 6 is 75 % of original
75= 6;
1 = 6/75
100 = (6/75) * 100 = 8
Rs 8 per dozen

25% of reduction means 96*25/100=24 in 24 rupess we get 4 dozen egg.
hence price of 1 dozen is 6 rs now in 72 we wet 12 dozen egg.
if 12 dozen egg price is 96 then one dozen is 8rs..

since price is reduce by 25% then consumption has to be increased by 33.33%
so 33.33% of total eggs=4 => total eggs =12
original price=96/12= Rs.8 per dozen

ans = 8 rs
let no of X dozen is buy Y rs per dozen in 96 Rs
so XY= 96
when price is reduce then
(X+4)(Y - 25/100Y) = 96
(X+4)3/4Y=96
3/4XY +3Y =96 =XY
3Y=XY -3/4XY = 1/4XY
3Y=1/4XY
X=12
and Y =8 which is price of egg +

Let the price per dozen be Rs x
& he bought y dozen of eggs
then
1st case: x*y =96------------(1)
2nd case(after reducing price by 25%):
x-(x/4)=(3x/4)
so, (3x/4)*(y+4) = 96
=>3xy+12x =(96*4)
=>3*96 + 12x = 96*4 (frm (1))
=>x=96/12
=>x=8
So ans is price per dozen is Rs 8.

Let price of egg is Rs x per Dozen
so 96/x+4=96/.75x
=>96+4x=4*96/3
=>12x=96
=>x=8
ANS. RS 8

new price (both case) = xz/100*y

original price(if price hike) = xz /(100+x)*y and original price(in reduction) = xz/(100-x)*y


now comes to question
in ..reduction .
..we should to find original price in redustion = 25*96/(100-25)*4
=25*96/75*4
=96/12
=8 ans ......

now
x.y=96

after reduction of 25% in price
(x-x*25/100)(y+4)=96
x=8;

so,reduction of 25% in price results increase of 33.33% in Quantity.Now,
Q+48=4/3*Q
(1/4)Q=48=>Q=144
price of 144 eggs is 96
therefore,price of 12 eggs=(96/144)*12
=Rs.8

=> 78 +5 - (x + y + z) = (50+5-x-z) + (30+5-x-y) + (20+5-y-z)
=> (x + y + z) = 32%

=> (78 - (x+y+z)+5) = 51%

Let the price of x dozen = 96 Rs
Price of 1 dozen = 96/x
After 25% reduction, 4 more dozen will get at Rs 96
So, price of (x+4) dozen = 96 Rs
Therefore, Price of 1 dozen = 96/(x+4)
Now, according to question
(96/x) = (96/(x+4)) + .25*(96/x)
After solving, We get x=12
Therefore, price of 1 dozen = (96/12)=8 Rs

cost of eggs * dozens = 96
i.e., x*y = 96
after reducing the cost of eggs and increasing the dozens equ: beomes
(x-x*(25/100))(y+4) = 96
after solving the above equ we get
3x = 24
x = 8
so ans is 8
