group 4 terms from series then,
6-3=3,3*3=9
12-5=7,5*7=35
then
8-6=2, 6*2=12 ..ans:12

first take 4 terms 6 3 3 9
3+3=6 wich is left 3*3=9 taken right like that
5+7=12 5*7=35
6+2=8 6*2=12

(12,5,7,35)12-5=7,7*5=35
(8,6,2,?)8-6=2,2*7=14
Ans=14

just divide three equal parts like (6,3,3,9) & (12,5,7,35) & (8,6,2,?)
then neglect 1st term of each category then multiply 2nd term & 3rd term which is equal to the 4th tern in all three category like 1st category 3*3=9(4th term) and 2nd category 5*7=35(4th term) and final 3rd category 6*2=12() 4th term so 12 is the correct answer as i know.

(6,3,3,9) ----2nd term * 3rd term =4th term i.e 9
similarly (12,5,7,35) ----2nd term * 3rd term = 4th term i.e 35
same here also (8,6,2,?)---i.e 6*2=12 , which is our answer
