both are approaching each other relative speed=60+60=120m/h
distance=50m
time=50/120=5/12hrs= 25 minutes to meet

now,
relative length of train= 1/6+1/6=1/3m
relative speed = 120m/h
time to cross both the trains= (1/3)/120=1/360 hrs
= 1/6 minutes ans...

The trains are coming towards each other so their relative speed is 60+60=120
In this case the distance would be addition of lengths of trains.i.e 1/6+1/6=1/3
s=d/t, t=d/s=1/3*120=1/360hours.

length of A = 1/6 mile length of B = 1/6 mile
total distance = 50 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 151/3 mile
time = 151/3
........... = 151/360h

relative speed=(60+60)=120 miles/hr
each train has to cover(own length+another train's length)=(1/6+1/6)mil=1/3 mile
time taken=(1/3*120)hrs=1/360 hrs=10 seconds

u+v=60*1.603km*2,
t=distance/speed,
t=(2*1/6*1.603)/(60*1.603*2)=(1/360)hr=(1/6)min.

they will meet at 25 miles found by considering at an instant both will be at apoint so time is same if one travels x distance other travels 50-x so using d/v=constant distance is found...as both are in opposite direction their speeds get added up as 120 miles/hr and length of train is 1/6 mile so time they travel together is distance/time=1/6/120=5 sec
