By using pythagoras theorem and using the situation we get (80*80)+(60*60)=10000 and the sq root of 10000 is 100. So ans is 100

He moves 90 metres east. Then turns right, and moves 20 metres. He then turns right, and sees his uncle's place, 30 metres ahead. He doesn't find his father there, so he moves 100 metres north (in the same direction as he was moving earlier). Thus, we get a figure, which is a combination of a rectangle and a right angled triangle.

This right angled triangle has two sides, a 20 metres height and 40 metres base. Thus, the answer, using Pythagoras theorem is :

underoot of (20*20)+(40*40) = (20 root 5) metres is the ans

Since, by turning east then right twice makes it west direction. that too 30 m closer to the starting point. .....
it makes the right angle triangle of base (90-30)=60 and the height of 20 m. so by pythagoras, the answer must be under root( 60^2 + 20^2)= 20 m

Distance between meeting the father from starting point= square root(60^2+ 80^2) = 100 meters.
