after P years
(275+5*5+5P+50)/6=60
=> 350 + 5P = 360
=> 5P=10

A-25 /5 =55, A= 300, avg person is 60 yrs
now after P years implies:
((300+5p)+50) /6 = 60
thus p =2

before 5 yrs total age of 5 persons = 5*55=275
now or total present AGE OF 5 PERSONS = 275+5*5=300
AVERAGE AGE NOW IS = 300/5 = 60
AFTER P YRS IF 6TH PERSON JOIN THEN
AVERAGE AGE = [300+5P+50]/6
60 = [300+5P+50]/6
60*6=350+5P
360-350=5P
10=5P
P=2

Option - 2 sum of present age of 5 men is (55*5+5*5) 300 so after 2 years sum of their age is 300+2*5 = 310 person age 50 joins so total age will be 360 of 6 men so now avg is 60 (360÷6)..

Let the present age of all people be a,b,c,d,e.
5 years ago,
[(a+b+c+d+e)-25]/5=55
so (a+b+c+d+e)=300
after p years, that means (p-5) years from now, new avg equation will be

=> {[(a+b+c+d+e)+5(p-5)]+ 50}/6=60
=> (a+b+c+d+e)+5(p-5)=360-50=310
=> 300+ 5(p-5)=310
=> 5(p-5)=10
=> p=7 years
therefore,answer is option d) 7 years

5(m-5)/5=55
=>m=60
after p years
(5(m+p)+50)/6=60
=>5p=360-350
=>p=2

sum of present age of five members -5*5=55*5
so, sum of present age of of five members =300
now
after p years,
sum of present age of five members +5*p+50 = 60*6
or, 300+50+5*p=3600
or, p=2

Let the total age of 5 men be X.

Then the average age of 5 men before 5 years = (X - number of years x number of men)

/ number of men = (X - 3x5)/5 = (X-15)/5 = 55

Then X = 55 x 5 + 15 = 290. That is, presently the total age = 290.

After P years, the total age of the 5 men becomes X + 5xP = 290 + 5xP.

One man aged 50 joins with them. Therefore the average becomes (Total age of 5

original men after P years + Age of new man) / Total number of men = (290 + 5P + 50)/

(5+1) = 60

or 5P = 360 - 340 = 20

p = 20/5 = 4

Therefore, 4 years is our required answer.
