first of all take the ratio 10:5 as 2:1
therefore 2+1=3
now tim ratio=2
every hour they double the speed
current speed of tim=90
which means 90*2/3=60

let the distance traveled by tim is x km.
then
x/10= (90-x)/5
15x=900
x=60

after 2 hor distance between them is 45 km..speed ratio after 2 hr-40:20=2:1..so that 45 km will be divided by 2:1 tim-- 2/3*45=30 km
so total distance for tim = 10+20+30=60
