As on earth the hour hand covers the dial twice every day. Find the approximate angle between the hands on clock on oz when the time is 11:40am.

If the statement
There are 36 hrs in a day and each day has 90mts while each minute has
60 sec.
is to read as

There are 36 hrs in a day and each hr has 90mts while each minute has
60 sec.
then

hr hand moves in 1 hr by 360/18 = 20 degrees
hr hand moves in 1/2 hr by 10 deg. 0r 20/90 deg in 1 min
so hr hand moves by 20*11 + 40*20/90 = 220+9(app) = 229 deg
Min hand moves by 360 deg in 90 mins.
or
min hand moves by 4 deg per min. and 160 deg in 40 mins.

so angle between the hands on clock on oz when the time is 11:40am = 229-160 = 69 deg
