b salary is more than c is 15

B's salary = 90/100 * A's salary ---(1)
C's salary = 75/100 * A's salary
===> A's salary = 100/75 * C's salary

substituting in (1)
B's salary = 90/100 * 100/75 * C's salary
= 120/100 * C's salary

why,
asked in question was "By what percent of B's salary more than that of c's".

But you are doing with respect to A. Doing with respect to B is write one.

then b=90,and c=75.
b salay is 15 more then c.
%=(15*100)/75=20% ans.

Let A's salary=100%
Given B's salary=10%less than A so B=90%
lly C=75%
So, B's salary is 15% more than c

means
B's salary is 90% of A
similarly
C's salary is less by 25% than that of A
means
C's salary is 75% of A
Therefore

let A's salary=x then B's salary will be x-10% of x and C's salary will be x-25% of x.now given that B's salary is more than C.so,subtract C's salary from B's salary it will be 3x/20 then find how much percent 3x/20 will make from B's salary

ANS:50/3%--->16 and 2/3%

initially lets we assume a=100%..now from the problem..
A B C
100% 90% 75%
15/75*100=20%

b's will be 90
c's will be 100(1-25/100)=100*(75/100)=75
[(90-75)/75]*100=(15/75)*100=20%

RATIO of B:A = 9:10
RATIO of C:A = 3:4 (MULTIPLYING FACTOR APPROACH)

NOW, equate the ratio,
A:B:C = 40:36:30

B is 6 MORE THAN C.
SO, 6/30*100= 20%
